Level-5 finishes for Henderson's boldest modern hillside homes.
Ascaya's terraced lots, blasted out of the McCullough foothills, hold the valley's most ambitious modern architecture: desert-contemporary custom homes with flat rooflines, deep cantilevers, walls of glass, and interior planes that run thirty feet without a door or corner to hide a flaw. This is level-5 country. The long smooth walls that define these interiors show roller lap, patch flash, and skim waves the instant low sun rakes across them — which, with this much west- and north-facing glass over the valley, happens every single evening.
Our Ascaya interior work is built around that reality: full-surface skim repairs feathered wide, raking-light inspection before paint, and sprayed finishes on the flush doors and minimalist casework these homes favor. Palettes here are typically restrained — warm whites, muted plasters, deep charcoal accents — which puts all the pressure on execution rather than color.
Outside, the same crisp parapet lines and smooth stucco planes that make the architecture read from below leave zero tolerance for wavy cut lines, and the hillside terracing means many elevations need lift access planned before anyone opens a paint can. We scope that in the proposal, not on day one.
